Beach Cleanup
December 4 • 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Join MODS and The Extra Catch for our beach cleanups at the Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park (6503 N Ocean Drive, Dania Beach, FL 33004 - park entrance fees will be waived for cleanup participants). The cleanup is appropriate for all ages but recommended for children 8 years old and older. All children 16 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
All volunteers should bring a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, closed-toe shoes, as well as appropriate clothing for beach and weather. Water, Gatorade and cleaning supplies will be provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own equipment.
Space is limited to ensure social distancing and masks are required, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccination.
