CAMP STEAMology T-SHIRTS ARE REQUIRED Campers are required to wear Camp STEAMology t-shirts. One FREE shirt will be included with registration for any multi-day camp, and an additional shirt will be provided for subsequent weeks. Additional shirts can be purchased for $12 at check-in.
FIELD TRIPS will be to Esplanade Park, an outdoor venue directly across from the Museum. Other enrichment activities will be brought in on-site to the Museum from trusted partners.
ADVANCED REGISTRATION is required to guarantee a spot due to smaller group sizes.
KEEPING HEALTHY SCIENTISTS SAFE
- Daily health and safety protocol review with campers.
- Every camper must bring a reusable water bottle clearly labeled with their name. No single-use plastic bottles, please.
- Proper handwashing technique and frequent reminders.
- Designated Camp restrooms and water fountain.
- Required pre-registration for a guaranteed spot.
- Adherence to all local, state and national health and safety laws, rules and guidelines. Educators are prepared to provide an amazing camp experience.

MODS Makers Camp: Handmade for Holidays
December 22, 23 and 26 (Three-Day Camp)
Get ready to make the season bright. Campers will unwrap their creativity by designing and building handmade gifts to share with family and friends. From keepsakes to cool creations, they will explore tools and the engineering design process while boosting problem-solving skills and confidence.
MODS Makers Camp: Handmade for Holidays
December 29, 30 and January 2 (Three-Day Camp)
Turn imagination into play. Campers will invent, design and build their own toys, games and gadgets then see them come to life. Along the way, they will dive into hands-on projects, explore exciting tools and use the engineering design process to test their creations.
Spring Break Camp
Aviation Academy: Air to Orbit
March 16-20 (Five-Day Camp)
Blast off this spring break with MODS’ Aviation Academy. From soaring paper airplanes to powerful rocket launches, campers will discover the science of lift, thrust and propulsion. With hands-on experiments and creative challenges, they will explore what it takes to fly through the skies and journey beyond Earth as pilots and astronauts in training.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Class capacity is limited and enrollment is based on a first-come, first served basis.
- Multiple-day camps cannot be purchased as one-day camps
- We accept Visa, MasterCard or American Express. You may also pay cash in person at the Box Office.
- Museum members may also pay by personal check. Checks should be made payable to: Museum of Discovery and Science.
- A camp registration confirmation will be sent to you once your child’s registration has been processed.
- The Museum reserves the right to combine like age levels to meet minimum attendance requirements.
- The Museum reserves the right to cancel a program if minimum enrollment has not been reached.
- Camp fees must be processed and submitted prior to your child participating in Camp STEAMology.
Policy and Procedures
- All camp registrations are final and will be honored only on the camp day/week purchased.
- Except in the case of an event cancellation by the Museum, there are no refunds or exchanges allowed.
- Absences may not be “made up” by having your child(ren) attend another camp on a different day, nor will you receive a prorated amount/refund/credit for any missed days. This includes illnesses or emergencies.
- If a camper is sent home due to behavioral reasons, no refunds will be provided.
Promotional Photography
From time to time, the Museum of Discovery and Science takes photographs during classes and camp. These photographs are used for many purposes, including advertising and promotional materials. Should you have any objection to the Museum taking or using photographs of you or your children, please call and advise a reservations agent before your child’s camp begins. This information will be recorded in your child’s record.
