Hurricane season is here! MODS is teaming up again with FIU International Hurricane Research Center and the Florida Division of Emergency Management for one of our most popular annual events. Future storm chasers, meteorologists and engineers will learn about hurricanes and disaster preparedness. Using LEGO® bricks, construct a resilient city that can withstand the most powerful storms. For young meteorologists (ages 0-6), it’s a day of discovery, from learning how hurricanes form to creating “My Hero Helper” portraits.
