Spend an unforgettable night at the Museum with themed overnight adventures that blend science, discovery and fun. Designed for Girl Scouts and Scouting America, these experiences let participants explore MODS after hours, earn badge requirements and make lifelong memories with friends.

Night in the Everglades
January 10
Meet animal ambassadors and explore Florida’s wild side. Discover the incredible habitats, creatures and science of the Everglades during this unforgettable overnight adventure.

Carnival Construction
February 21
Step right up for a night of hands-on engineering fun. Design, build and play your own carnival games using MAGNA-TILES®, marble rollercoasters and go-karts in this celebration of creativity and innovation.

Mystery at MODS
April 11
The clues are waiting—can you solve the case? Become a super sleuth as you investigate fingerprints, uncover clues with forensic science and crack secret codes during this thrilling night of discovery.

Messy Science Night
May 2
Get ready to bubble, fizz and pop. Dive into colorful, hands-on experiments that make science come alive in this wonderfully messy overnight adventure.

Space Siesta
September 19
Blast off for a stellar sleepover that’s out of this world. Build glowing LED constellations, explore careers in space science and journey through the stars in our immersive Geodome Planetarium.

GLOW Night
October 10
Light up the night with glowing science. Explore the magic of bioluminescence, glow-in-the-dark chemistry and end the evening with an electrifying black light dance party.

Cost: $60 per participant (including chaperones) with a minimum of 50 participants.

The minimum to host this event is 50 people. This event is subject to cancellation if the minimum number of participants is not met a week prior to event date.

Check-in:  See the coordinator located at the Information Desk inside the museum.

Recommended items: Inflatable mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, warm clothing, flashlights, cooler with snacks and extra drinks. (Pizza, juice, and water are provided with overnight, as well as continental breakfast). Alcohol is prohibited.

All participants must wear shoes at all times.
All participants must depart by 8 a.m.
